under the Solar Power Naija – 5million SHS connections program.
What is Solar Power Naija? This is a program under the Economic
Sustainability Plan which was approved by the Federal Executive
Council on November 22nd, 2020 aimed at revitalizing the
domestic economy in response to the COIVID-19 pandemic. Solar
Power Naija aims to increase energy access through 5 million new
Solar connections, increase local content in the off-grid solar value
chain and create 250,000 new jobs in the energy sector.

Expenses on fuel for generators reduced by more than 90% or even eliminated in some cased
