Asolar Nigeria was founded in 2016 with it's headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria's capital city with a mission to create a sustainable alternative source of energy for off grid communities across Africa.

A Solar Home System project for rural areas in partnership with the Niger Delta Power Holding Company and Azuri Technologies limited to distribute 20,000 solar home solution units and currently managing the revenue collection.

In order to ensure long-term sustainability of the drive to electrify 5 million off-grid homes in Nigeria, Asolar signed a technology transfer agreement with key global solar component manufacturers

Asolar Nigeria partners with Nigerian Federal Government to provide 100k Solar
Home Systems (SHS) to electrify 500k people in rural Nigeria under the Solar Power Naija project.

In a bid to ensure affordability and create an enabling environment for renewable energy technology transfer, Asolar launched a solar systems assembly plant in Lagos and has so far created dozens of Jobs across the state
